Top 20 Lowest cost ETFs in The U.S

We scanned all ETFs on the market looking for the lowest cost in term of fees. Here are the top 20 (meaning, the cheapest 20):

Those fees are extremely cheap, at 0.07%. In general, they are all index funds, meaning that they simply track an index, i.e., there is very little work for the managers.

VTI and VV are the top 2.

VTI is up 26% in 1 year.
  • It tracks the performance of the of the MSCI US Broad Market Index (the Index). The Index represents 99.5% or more of the total market capitalization of all of the United States common stocks traded on the New York and American Stock Exchanges and the Nasdaq over-the-counter market. The Fund typically holds the largest 1,200 to 1,300 stocks in its target Index (covering 95% of the Index’s total market capitalization) and a representative sample of the remaining stocks.

VV is up 26.7% in 1 year.
  • It tracks the performance of the MSCI US Prime Market 750 Index. The Index is a diversified index of stocks of predominantly large United States companies.
